Birds and Beach

Woke up really late today. Felt so good to sleep in. Only problem is my Lady was in such pain with her back. We trussed her up in her new brace and pumped her full of pain killers and she was able to face the day. Hope things get better for her, feel so bad.

Took off into the wilderness on the edge of the camp with Charlie looking for the eagles. Found them to my joy living a bit further back than they used to be, but looking fine. See the pictures I took.

While over at the laundry room parked across the road was this great original 1953 MG car. I had a 1960 once and back in the 50's my uncle's boss who lived next door to him, had this same car. He used to take me and his daughter swimming to a local lake in it and I loved the car. This one was bought by the owners Father in 1965 and has all original paperwork etc. It only has 50,000 miles. Happy moment for me. I love old British sports cars. I visioned them all over the place when I went to England the first time but it seems there are more here.

Lynda was feeling better so we took of to find the ocean. We drove onto the Beach along the water checking out all the peeps on the way. To think they used to have wild stock car races on this very spot in the early days of NASCAR. Took some pictures of the outside of the track where they have the races now.

Went alone to Cracker barrel for dinner, Lynda wasn't into it and then took a bike ride. Tomorrow off to Georgia and a state park by the ocean. Go Yanks.
