This morning we decided to stay till Sunday at this campground. We feel right at home here and needed the time to shop, work on some things with the Bus and let Lynda's back rest. Today we saw one of the local Eagles flying over the campground and also a swallow tail kite. It seems the kite is migrating and has stopped in our area for a bit. A great sight for us.
Some thoughts on Daytona. We find it very congested at times but the woods on the fringe is real nice. Off course it has plenty of stores that work for us to stock up for the rest of our journey north and good resturants. Tomorrow we will head over to the ocean to take a look and maybe drive on the beach where stock car races used to be held. They are now driven in a huge NASCAR track that is only a few miles from our campsite. I heard one of the cars practicing today when we drove past, very loud.
We went out to eat to one of our favorite stops Ruby Tuesday and Lynda had a giant Margarita and Lot's of food, more than she could deal with.
Reservations were made today for the next campground up by Savannah Ga. a state park called Skidaway Island. We will stay there for two days and perhaps head into Savannah again.
That is a huge Margarita! We love Ruby Tuesdays too...go there all the time. Love the salad bar. The best.
